DC Comic's upcoming 48-page Batman/Fortnite One-Shot will be by Scott Snyder, Christos Gage, Donald Mustard, Joshua Hixon. While details remain scarce (including no officially revealed cover), the solicit does reveal the action from Fortnite Island will be coming to Gotham City, while the Batman/Fortnite saga is teased as getting even bigger than ever. The issue will feature a cover from legendary Batman artists Greg Capullo and Jonathan Glapion. The one-shot also features an open order variant from Alex Garner and a 1:25 variant from Mustard.

Includes a bonus digital code for an outfit in Fortnite.

Batman/Fortnite Comic One-Shot is avaible for Pre-order now and is set to release on October 27th.

We have acquired a huge collection of older books from 1952 and up.  Lots of golden and silver age comics.  It is going to take us months before we get them all ready for sale and such but many of the books are now in the store.  We have Silver Age Keys, Golden age Archie's, Superheroes, movie books and piles of Modern and Copper age as well.  Many of these will be available for sale on the website but it will take a while to get them all listed.  The retail store have many of the books processed and up for sale now.

Marvel Indigenous Voices is back in stock and should be available in the store on Wednesday Dec 2.  We have secured a number of copies of this sold out comic book.

Marvel's Voices: Indigenous Voices #1 features stories about Indigenous and Native American superheroes, all for the first time written and illustrated by creators with Indigenous backgrounds.

One of the creators is Kyle Charles, an Edmonton-based comic book artist originally from Whitefish Lake First Nation.

Comic Link has just sold a Detective #27 for $850,000 (WOW)

Here is an excerpt from there press release:

"Never underestimate the Caped Crusader. This comic originally sold for 10 cents in 1939 and was purchased for $850,000, a record in grade and the 2nd highest public sale of a Detective #27.  In times of financial uncertainty, collectibles values increase, as interest turns to tangible investments. This certainly held true during the recession of 2009. Emerging from that period, our team earned several Guinness World Records for highest comic sales—including two Action Comics #1 (Superman’s first appearance) for $1,000,000 and $1,500,000 and an Amazing Fantasy #15 (Spider-Man’s debut) for $1.1 million. Since then we’ve sold Action 1 for $1,750,000, $2 million, $2.2 million and over $3 million."

We are always buying and have obtained a very nice collection of older stuff including Silver Age Showcase, Silver Surfer, Fantastic Four and much more.

Many of the keys are already off to CGC for Grading.  We have separated a bunch and have many rare Silver and Golden age gems rare copies in the store for sale now!!

We just got a ton of new stuff in including an Incredible Hulk 181 CGC 5.5 (1st Wolverine) NOW SOLD, tons of Star War (Kanan #1 and #6 and many others).  Check the online store over the next few days as we list them and also check the retail store now as many of the comics are there already.

You may have about the delay of free comic book day due to Covid-19.  Comic Fever is slowly getting the free comics in but we will not release any comics until Sept 12th 2020.  All the comics will have shipped by Sept 9th so come into the store Saturday Sept 12 for the best selection and take a few favorites with you for free.  Also the same day Comic Fever will be having our Fall Sale (One day only, details to follow) and a sidewalk sale where customers can book a table and sell/trade with the public (weather permitting, details to follow, no full time dealers)!!
